Located in Holland, Michigan, Machine Guard & Cover Co. manufactures industrial machine guarding required for operating safe working environments. The core of MGC fabrication capabilities involves custom CNC milling and small batch thermoforming. In anticipation of the required response to the COVID-19 pandemic, MGC has begun to develop new products to help prevent the spread of the disease to those at a high risk of exposure.
Product development has begun for safety barriers that can be installed at point of sale sites, visitor information desks and other locations of contact in business that remain open during the pandemic. These include a shield wall and mounting hardware that are intended to limit the risk of contamination from visitors.
In addition, a we have a material we believe can be used to quickly produce reusable face shields to be used in the medical industry during times of shortage.
