Payment

New Customers

Initial orders from new customers are processed via credit card unless prior exemption has been granted by Machine Guard & Cover, Co. in writing.

All Customers

Minimum orders are $45 unless prior written arrangements have been made.

Credit payment terms are Net 30 calendar days unless prior arrangements have been made in writing.

In the event of legal action is taken to collect a past due account, the buyer agrees to pay all collection costs and/or attorney fees.

A service charge may be applied to outstanding accounts over thirty (30) days old.

Credit Card information is destroyed immediately after it is used for processing the current transaction.

Product Return

All claims of shortages or damages must be made within seven (7) days after receipt of goods.

Stock products may be returned if and only if they are in an unmodified, undamaged, and resalable condition with thirty (30) days of receipt.

Stock product approved for return without a replacement order for substitute parts of the same or similar product family is subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Stock product approved for return linked to a replacement order for substitute parts of the same or similar product family is subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Non-stock and Custom products are not eligible for return.

Product Warranty

No guarantee is made for the viability or suitability of products for any situation or application.

Products are warranted to be free of material or manufacturing defects.

Warranty claims must be made within ninety (90) days from receipt of product.

Lead-Time

Standard Lead-Time is seven (7) to ten (10) business days.

Expedited orders may be subject to additional surcharges.

Large or custom orders may require additional time that would be outlined and agreed upon at time of order.

Mold/Tool Disposition

Molds and tools that have been inactive for five (5) years will be reviewed for disposal.

If after five (5) years of part inactivity and if MGC is unable to contact the customer after good faith attempts to determine mold status, molds and tooling may be destroyed.

Customers may arrange transfer of any inactive molds and tools from MGC to prevent disposal or avoid storage fees.
