The Michigan Safety Conference is a volunteer organization dedicated to promoting the improvement of workplace safety and health practices in the State of Michigan. It provides participants with quality workplace health and safety education through an annual conference that attracts one of the highest attendance ratings, by safety professionals, in the nation.

The 2020 Michigan Safety Conference will be held at the DeVos Place in Grand Rapids, MI on April 7-8, 2020.

On Wednesday, April 8, 2020, Machine Guard & Cover, Co. will present the following focus sessions:
12:30 pm: B11.19 Standards (Basic)
This program will provide a brief history of B11.19 standards and updates from the last revision, focusing on physical machine guarding.
1:45 pm: Physical Machine Guarding (Basic)
This session will highlight points to consider when designing and installing physical point guarding on industrial equipment including features to consider and hazards to avoid.
